Send a one-time password to the SME owner's registered mobile number to begin secure customer verification
This is a draft version of the SME Onboarding APIs. The final version is expected to be released by the end of September. The API specifications are subjected to go through a few more changes before the final version is released.
Generate OTP API initiates the SME account-opening journey by generating and sending a one-time password (OTP) to the customer's registered mobile number.
The OTP is subsequently used by the Validate Customer API to verify the customer and continue the onboarding process.
The 3-minute UI countdown is recommended even though the OTP remains technically valid for 7 minutes.
